Amgen Announces Webcast of Second Quarter Financial Results.

(Nasdaq:AMGN), the world's largest biotechnology company, today announced that it plans to report its second quarter financial results on Tuesday Tuesday: see week. , July 19, 2005 after the close of the financial markets. The announcement will be followed by a conference call with the investment community at 2 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time.

Participating in the call from Amgen will be Kevin Sharer, chairman and chief executive officer, and other members of Amgen's senior management team.

Live audio of the conference call will be simultaneously broadcast over the Internet Internet
