Joseph R. Ettore, Ames' President and Chief Executive Officer, said, "After re-evaluating the performance of the Lafayette store and the customer base it serves, Ames has determined this store will remain in operation. We are pleased to retain the current employees and we look forward to the Grand Opening of the new Ames store in September."
