:AMES) today announced the planned opening of five new stores in New York, Ohio and Pennsylvania.

Two of the stores are located in New York: Schenectady, in the Crosstown Plaza at the intersection of Route 7 and Watt Street, and Latham, in the New Louden Center, 873 New Louden Road. The Schenectady store is a former Caldor location and the Latham store is a former Bradlee's location.

Two other stores are located in Ohio, in the Columbus area: Village of Canal Winchester, in the Winchester Square Shopping Center, and Columbus, in the Town &Country Shopping Center, 120 Robinwood Avenue. Both stores are new construction.

The new store in Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania Fairless Hills is a census-designated place (CDP) in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 8,365 at the 2000 census. History

The new stores in New York and Pennsylvania are scheduled to open in July 2000 and the stores in Ohio are scheduled to open in the early fall.
