) today announced the appointment of Mark Nowak as Group President, Fiberglass-Composite Pipe. In this position, he will have overall management responsibility for Ameron's worldwide fiberglass pipe operations. Ameron's fiberglass pipe business has manufacturing facilities in Burkburnett and Mineral Wells, Texas Mineral Wells is a city in Palo Pinto County, Texas and a portion of Parker County, Texas. The population was 16,946 at the 2000 census. The city is named for mineral springs in the area, which were highly popular in the early 1900s. ; Singapore and Malaysia; and Geldermalsen, the Netherlands; and has joint-venture companies in Saudi Arabia Saudi Arabia (sä`dē ərā`bēə, sou`–, sô–), officially Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, kingdom (2005 est. pop.  and Kuwait.

Nowak joined Ameron in 1998 and was most recently President of Fiberglass-Composite Pipe-Americas, with responsibility for the U.S. operations, including the Company's oilfield piping subsidiary, Centron International, Inc. Nowak has a B.A. in Marketing from the University of Toledo National recognition

Ameron also announced the appointment of Edwin van Steenis as General Manager of Fiberglass-Composite Pipe-Europe, with responsibility primarily for Europe, Africa and the former Soviet Union. Edwin joined Ameron in February 1997 and has a Bachelor degree in Business Economics from the University of Hogeschool-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands.

In addition to van Steenis and Nowak, the Group's senior managers include:

-- Allen Chiu, Managing Director-Ameron (Pte) Ltd., responsible

for Asian and Middle East operations. Allen joined Ameron in

April 1998 after many years in management technology at Exxon

Mobil Corporation. He holds a Master of Science degree in

Chemical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire New Hampshire, one of the New England states of the NE United States. It is bordered by Massachusetts (S), Vermont, with the Connecticut R. forming the boundary (W), the Canadian province of Quebec (NW), and Maine and a short strip of the Atlantic Ocean (E). .

Tim joined Ameron in 2002 from Valspar Corporation. He is a

graduate of Purdue University Purdue University (pərdy`, -d`), main campus at West Lafayette, Ind.  with a M.B.A. degree.

-- David B. Jones, Vice President-U.S. Operations. David joined

Ameron as part of the Centron acquisition in 1996. He has a

Bachelor degree in Business Management from LaSalle

University.

-- Issam Makansi, Vice President of Sales and Marketing-Middle

East, joined Ameron in January 1982 and holds a Master of

Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of

Berlin.

-- Pierre de Fermor, Senior Vice President of Sales and

Marketing-SSL, joined Ameron in January 1982 and holds a

degree in Marketing from the University of Paris.

-- Jeroen van Brakel, Technical Director-SSL, began his career

with Ameron in 1986 and holds a Bachelor degree in Engineering

from the University of Hogeschool-Utrecht, the Netherlands.
