Ameron Inc. makes announcement.


PASADENA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 18, 1994--Ameron Inc. Friday said that recent public statements by a competitor about patent-related restrictions on Ameron's underground service station and other fuel-handling piping systems are grossly inaccurate.

On Nov. 15, Total Containment Inc. (TCI (Trustworthy Computing Initiative) An umbrella term from Microsoft for its efforts to improve security in Windows. TCI was announced in 2002 after viruses such as Code Red and Nimda had succeeded in attacking numerous Windows computers. ), an Ameron competitor, issued a news release stating that its recent settlement of a patent dispute with Keith J. Osborne will require Osborne to terminate his existing license with Ameron and an Ameron sublicensee covering flexible, retractable re·tract
