 American Corporation (Nasdaq: PAMC PAMC Providence Alaska Medical Center ), today announced an agreement to offer Ameritas life insurance products throughout the HealthAxis.com network of Web sites.

Customers will be able to purchase Ameritas term life insurance products throughout the HealthAxis.com network of sites and through HealthAxis.com's exclusive distribution partners, which include AOL (A division of Time Warner, Inc., New York, NY, www.aol.com) The world's largest online information service with access to the Internet, e-mail, chat rooms and a variety of databases and services.  and AOL.COM, Lycos, CNET (body) CNET - Centre national d'Etudes des Telecommunications. The French national telecommunications research centre at Lannion.  and Snap!. Under the agreement, Ameritas will pay HealthAxis.com certain base commissions as well as marketing-related fees based upon premium sales. In addition, Ameritas will provide claims processing and customer service for the joint customers of HealthAxis.com and Ameritas Life Insurance Corporation.
