 BB: AMQT) today announced that Michael D. McCarthy - an extremely successful executive in the computer distribution channel for over 30 years and a proven performer in sales and marketing - joined the firm as Vice-President of Sales and Marketing on February 1, 1999.

For the past two and one half years, Mr. McCarthy served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for SBM SBM - Solution Based Modelling , a Hewlett Packard distributor. In that role, in 26 months, he developed and implemented programs that grew sales revenues from $38 million to $200 million.

For four years prior to SBM, Mr. McCarthy was Director of Value Added Value Added

IBM's product lines include the S/390 mainframes (zSeries), AS/400 midrange business systems (iSeries), RS/6000 workstations and servers (pSeries), Intel-based servers (xSeries) . After a number of years in field sales, Mike spent nearly four years at IBM's General Systems Division Headquarters in Atlanta, Ga. In 1982 Mr. McCarthy became Branch Manager for the National Marketing Division in Atlanta.

For the ten years that he worked in this position Mr. McCarthy and his branch team grew revenues at an average of 26 percent per year. His Branch Office implemented the first IBM Business Partner Program in the country.
