:VAR) and Amerinet Inc. today announced they have renewed a preferred pricing agreement to supply Amerinet members with advanced systems for treating cancer with radiotherapy. The contract covers Varian's state-of-the-art equipment and software for radiation therapy, including SmartBeam(TM) IMRT (intensity modulated radiation therapy), a highly precise form of radiation therapy that targets cancer cells cells once believed to be peculiar to cancers, but now know to be epithelial cells differing in no respect from those found elsewhere in the body, and distinguished only by peculiarity of location and grouping.
