Americas Wind Energy Corporation Announces Several New Orders for Windturbines.

Americas Wind Energy Inc., the Company's Canadian subsidiary, has recently sold its shares in Emergya Wind Technologies B.V., the proceeds of which were used by the Company to completely retire its loan from Digital Predictive Systems Inc. ("DPS Minicomputer series from Bull HN.

Orders have been received from Wind Vision, an Iowa-based Owner/Operator, and related parties for two AWE AWE - Advanced WavEffect  54-900 windturbines.

Orders have also been received from two electric utilities, Waverly Light and Power in Waverly, Iowa Waverly is a city in Bremer County, Iowa, United States. The population was 8,968 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Bremer County.GR6 The sister city of Waverly is the German city of Eisenach, which is famous for the Wartburg castle. , for two AWE 54-900 windturbines and Rural Electric Convenience Cooperative in Camp Point, Iowa, for one AWE 54-900 windturbine.

This brings the Company's recent orders to six, including the previously announced windturbine for the Wray School District in Wray, Colorado Wray is a city in Yuma County, Colorado, United States. The population was 2,187 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Yuma CountyGR6. The school mascot is the Eagles for high school and Eaglets in the lower grades. .
