Americas' SAP Users' Group to Host mySAP(TM) ERP Upgrade Symposium.


User Group Holds Follow-Up to Successful 2006 Events; Third Symposium to Help SAP Customers Upgrade to SAP's New Enterprise Service Oriented Architecture

CHICAGO -- The Americas' SAP Users' Group A users' group (also users group or user group) is a type of club focused on the use of a particular technology, usually (but not always) computer-related.  (ASUG ASUG America's SAP Users' Group

), the world's largest customer-run community of SAP professionals, will host its mySAP(TM) ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) An integrated information system that serves all departments within an enterprise. Evolving out of the manufacturing industry, ERP implies the use of packaged software rather than proprietary software written by or for one customer.  Upgrade Symposium February 21-22 at the Hyatt Regency Denver at the Colorado Convention Center The Colorado Convention Center is a multi-purpose convention center in downtown Denver, Colorado which recently underwent a major expansion. The expansion added 600,000 sq. feet of space and a 5,200 seat concert hall. The total area of the convention center is 1.2 million sq. feet.  in Denver, Colorado. In addition to the opportunity to hear directly from SAP about its new platform and release strategy, the event offers 13 customer-driven education sessions and opportunities to exchange best practices on upgrading to mySAP ERP 2005.

The symposium is the third ERP Upgrade event the organization has held in recent months, and follows the recent SAP announcement that mySAP ERP 2005 will be the company's "go to" release for all SAP R/3 customers through 2010.
