Americas' SAP Users' Group Announces New Board of Directors.Rod Masney of O-I to Extend His Term as President CHICAGO -- The Americas' SAP Users' Group A users' group (also users group or user group) is a type of club focused on the use of a particular technology, usually (but not always) computer-related. (ASUG ASUG America's SAP Users' Group ASUG Australian Shipping User Group ), the world's largest customer-run community of SAP professionals, today announced its new 2007-2008 board of directors. The ASUG Board is comprised of 13 volunteer Installation Members, and one SAP representative, who work together to ensure the vitality of the organization. In addition to working closely with SAP's executive leadership to identify new growth opportunities, the Board works together to set a long-term strategy for the organization that ensures other SAP customers have the opportunity to gain the most from their SAP investments. Following a very successful year, Rod Masney, Global Director, IT Infrastructure Services of O-I, will serve another partial term as ASUG President. "The past year has been one of great momentum for the ASUG community," said Rod Masney, ASUG President, "and we have a strong board, comprised of committed ASUG volunteers, to help continue that momentum in 2007 and 2008.
