Americas' SAP Users' Group Announces Impact Award Winners.

User Group Recognizes the Achievements of Its Members' SAP Implementation Efforts

CHICAGO -- The Americas' SAP Users' Group (ASUG), the world's largest independently customer-run community of SAP professionals, announced today the winners of its annual Impact Award, bestowed to ASUG Installation Members for significant business results due to an SAP implementation. This year, 20 submissions were received and reviewed by the ASUG Impact Award Committee.

The number of applications received nearly tripled from previous years and ranged from new implementations to SAP technology upgrades across all industries.

"ASUG is proud to reward each of these companies for their outstanding SAP implementation efforts, "said Mike Perroni, ASUG Immediate Past President and Impact Award Committee Chair. "These winners provide each of our members with excellent examples of best implementation practices that lead to a high return on their SAP investment."

ASUG Impact Award submissions are evaluated on a series of criteria including: the return on investment generated, strategic alignment to business goals, SAP product scope utilized, best practices developed, service improvements demonstrated, and the degree of innovation reflected in their approach. This year's awards were presented to three companies representing three member segments within ASUG; Large Enterprises, Small to Mid-size Businesses, and Public Sector.

Winners of the award receive two free registrations to the 2007 ASUG Annual Conference being held in Atlanta during the week of April 23rd, a feature story in the 2007 ASUG Impact Award Special Report, and acknowledgement during the keynote presentation of the conference which will draw more than 7,000 people. Winners will also lead an educational session at the conference to share lessons learned and best practices applied in their SAP implementation.
