More than 50 percent would give at least a portion to charity and 45 percent said they would treat themselves to a dream item. Less than half of those surveyed would quit their jobs.

However, consumers can play the practice games without a code.

The survey also revealed that more than 55 percent of those surveyed would themselves submit to becoming a game show contestant to win a sum that large, and 36 percent would go on a real world-wide treasure hunt, but 92 percent said they would prefer to just eat candy and play a game, like Nestle Treasure Quest, for the chance.

Nestle commissioned the survey of 1,000 Americans ages 18+ to determine how consumers feel about winning and spending $1 million. Full survey results are available for publication.
