POP CULTURE 2, a follow up to the original edition, one of the best-selling games of 2003. With more than 2,400 all new card and DVD questions in six categories - TV, Music, Movies, Sports/Games, Buzz and Fads - the newly designed game is bound to keep pop culture fans of all kinds on the edge of their seats.

In keeping with the sequel "spirit" of the season, Trivial Pursuit set out to determine what Americans consider to be the "best movie sequel" and the "best TV 'spin-off" of all time via a survey conducted by Opinion Research Corporation.

Aragorn trumps Don Vito - The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers was the highest regarded movie sequel (23 percent), edging out The Godfather II, which was a close second at 21 percent. Both films beat out popular sequels including The Empire Strikes Back (13%) and Terminator 2: Judgment Day (11%), which finished third and fourth, respectively, in the survey.

When it comes to TV "spin-offs," the doctor is in the house as Frasier received more than a quarter of the votes (26%) and beat out popular programs such as The Simpsons (21%), The Jeffersons (12%), Laverne & Shirley (11%), and A Different World (7%). , one of the most popular shows of the 1990s, received only 3% of respondent's votes. Other highlights from the survey include:

Movie Sequels: Men prefer the underworld; women prefer fantasy world ...

--One quarter of male respondents said they preferred The Godfather II (25%), while females surveyed connected most with Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (24%).

--While 17% of females voted for Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, only 4% of males selected the movie.

TV "Spin-Offs": It's simple - men take their advice from Homer, women from Dr. Crane...

--Men surveyed overwhelmingly cited The Simpsons as the best television show spin-off (30%), compared to females (13%). Overall women preferred Frasier (27%).

--The Simpsons is the top spin off of choice among those ages 18-24, as 59% rated the show their favorite, followed by Frasier at 15%. Comparatively, 37% of respondents age 45-54 said Frasier was their favorite television show spin-off.

Whether they cast their vote for Frasier or Homer, pop culture aficionados can put a wide array of "water cooler knowledge" to the test with TRIVIAL PURSUIT(R) DVD POP CULTURE 2. You will find questions like:

--What did nine Piston fans boldly sit on for 93 minutes while wearing thongs, in a contest to win tickets to the 2004 NBA finals The NBA Finals is the championship series of the National Basketball Association.

In addition, the new DVD brings trivia questions to life.
