Over the past nine months, The Academy has sponsored five Series 6 classes presented by ITI(R). "We are very proud to be the first institution to offer this opportunity to earn an American securities license in Russia," says Abel Aganbegian, rector of The Academy. "The next class from Sept. 18 to Sept. 29 is expected to be the most well-attended, as students will sit for the actual Series 6 exam soon after the class is completed." The Academy has availability for 50 students to register for the test, and all spaces are expected to be filled. The frequency of administering the exam will depend upon the number of enrollments, which are expected to increase significantly once word reaches the banks and brokerage firms that this opportunity exists. "Based upon performance in class, we expect a high percentage of the students will pass the first time," says Misak Vartanov, Ph.D., Director of Digital Training Center in The Academy. "After observing the classes at the ITI(R) home office in Atlanta, Ga., I find that the classes at The Academy are of equally high quality and intensity and effectively build the student's motivation and knowledge base." In fact, students of The Academy have scored consistently high marks on the ITI(R) class final, scores that indicate most students now have an excellent grasp of the material covered and will likely pass the actual exam.
