American flag, tops off state's newest tower.

More than 200 tradesmen, representing one of the largest groups of building trades in Connecticut, were treated to a luncheon celebration at 901 Main Avenue, The Towers at Merritt River, as the final steel beam with an American flag and symbolic evergreen tree were hoisted into place atop the 360,000 square foot superstructure.

Kenneth Corneau, President of United Steel, Inc. thanked his company's steel workers "for their commitment to safety and quality on one of Connecticut's largest commercial projects".

Located at the intersection of the Merritt Parkway and Route 7 in Norwalk, CT, 901 Main Avenue, is the third and final office building in The Towers at Merritt River Corporate Campus being developed by Building and Land Technology of Norwalk. It is one of the very few speculative new office building developments currently being erected in the suburban metropolitan New York.

Building and Land Technology President & CEO, Carl R. Kuehner, III, commented that he was "pleased that the construction was on time and on budget and that this tower will soon join Diageo and Hewitt Associates as neighbors in the Campus". Gregory S. Oneglia, Vice Chairman of O & G Industries, Inc., the project's General Contractor, said he was "very pleased to be working on another project with Building and Land Technology" and commended his trades for achieving this important milestone.

901 Main Avenue is on schedule to be completed in the Summer of 2005. Its 360,000 s/f will consist of an elegant granite and glass exterior, a gracious lobby, and landscaped plazas with abundant covered parking.
