American Vanguard appoints David B. Cassidy Executive Vice President.

Cassidy as Executive Vice President of its wholly- owned subsidiary Amvac Chemical Corporation. Mr. Cassidy brings to the Company more than 20 years of international chemical experience with FMC See fixed mobile convergence.  Corporation and E.I. Dupont. In his new position he will be responsible for the Company's new product development, acquisitions and global expansion, marketing and sales efforts.

For the past six years, Mr. Cassidy has held two key executive positions in FMC's $600 million agricultural chemical business and has played a major role in the rapid sales and profit growth of that business. Most recently, he was Director of Business Management with responsibility for developing and implementing business and product strategy and leading new product development, business development and planning on a worldwide basis. Prior to this assignment, he served for four years as the Area Director and General Manager of the North American North American
