American Tower's security team will be using Mazu Profiler to detect and respond to worms, Trojans, insider IT attacks, and other threats with greater speed and without reliance on signatures. In addition, they will be using Profiler to be more proactive - identifying unauthorized applications and rogue services, maintaining tighter firewall policies, and monitoring how their network and assets in their network are being used.

The implementation at American Tower is also notable as they are leveraging NetFlow as the key data source for Profiler - eliminating the need to add additional sensors or probes in their network.
