American Tower Corporation Prices Senior Notes Offering.BOSTON -- American Tower Corporation (NYSE: AMT) today announced that it has agreed to sell $300.0 million principal amount of 7.125% senior notes due October 15, 2012 through an institutional private placement, as previously announced. The notes were priced at par and the aggregate net proceeds to the Company are expected to be approximately $292.8 million. The closing is expected in early October and is subject to customary closing conditions. The Company intends to use all of the net proceeds to repurchase or redeem a portion of its outstanding 9 3/8% senior notes due 2009. This announcement is neither an offer to sell nor a solicitation of an offer to buy any of the notes.
