: AMT See vPro. ) ("the Company") today announced it has completed the redemption of $212.7 million principal amount of its 6.25% Convertible Notes Due 2009 ("the Notes"), representing all of its outstanding 6.25% Notes. American Tower redeemed the Notes pursuant to their terms at 102.083% of the principal amount plus unpaid and accrued interest Accrued Interest

The interest that has accumulated on a bond since the last interest payment up to but not including the settlement date.

There are two methods for calculating accrued interest:
1) 360-day year method, used for corporate and municipal bonds.
