) announced today that Inc. magazine has named the company to its 2009 list of the 5,000 fastest-growing private companies in America.

Huntersville, N.C.-based ATD, the leading distributor of tires to the replacement tire market nationally, ranked No. 13 on the list by revenues, and No. 25 on the list in terms of gross dollars of growth. ATD posted revenues of nearly $2.0 billion in 2008, up 30.3 percent over the three-year period covered by the Inc. analysis.
