") today announced the successful launching of its new, web-enabled database management system, providing customers with an interactive reporting platform, available 24 hours a day from anywhere in the world.

Chris Ermlich, director of Management Information Systems, stated, "We took advantage of emerging Internet technologies and converted ATSI's previous database system into a leading edge, web-enabled database management platform. The system was developed utilizing ORACLE software, which is run on a SUN SOLARIS server, one of the most powerful UNIX UNIX

Customers will no longer incur long distance charges when retrieving their data, as this new system can be accessed via an Internet connection and a standard Web browser The program that serves as your front end to the Web on the Internet. In order to view a site, you type its address (URL) into the browser's Location field; for example, www.computerlanguage.com, and the home page of that site is downloaded to you. . When connected, customers can perform interactive report generation of their respective call traffic. In addition to the ad-hoc reporting capabilities, the application provides automatic generation and delivery of selected reports on a scheduled basis, without user prompting or intervention. Consequently, the need for ATSI to print, fax, and mail traffic reports to its customers should be eliminated completely."
