American TeleSource International, Inc. Acquires Key Licenses in Mexico.


SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 8, 1997--American TeleSource (CANADIAN DEALING NETWORK Canadian Dealing Network (CDN)

") has obtained two key licenses that further enhance the Company's telecommunications capabilities within the country of Mexico.

ATSI has acquired both a "Shared Teleport License" and a "Network Resale License." The Shared Teleport License allows ATSI to provide communication transport services to several customers through the same centralized satellite facility. The Network Resale License gives ATSI the ability to contract for broad bandwidth fiber-optic circuits, offering increased reliability and more favorable rates to its customers.
