The first product shipment, against a backlog of advance orders of more than $50,000, was made to Sharper Image, a leading national retailer with 85 stores as well as catalog catalog, descriptive list, on cards or in a book, of the contents of a library. Assurbanipal's library at Nineveh was cataloged on shelves of slate. The first known subject catalog was compiled by Callimachus at the Alexandrian Library in the 3d cent. B.C.  distribution.

As a companion to the company's successful FM Sounds Radio, AM Sounds was developed for the rapidly growing sports and talk radio markets. AM Sounds fits attractively and comfortably in the ear and weighs less than half an ounce. It provides exceptional sound quality such as one would expect from larger, more expensive pocket transistor radios. Both radios are designed to be worn in only one ear, leaving the other ear open to conversation, room sounds, traffic, etc.

The launch of this patented product culminates nine months of intensive development and tooling effort. It nicely complements FM Sounds at existing retailers which will now feature a new point-of-sale display showing both products. The availablity of both radios provides the opportunity to further expand direct sales opportunities such as television and magazine advertising. ATC ATC Air Traffic Control
