To achieve the voluntary certification, ATC's facilities in Huntington Station underwent a rigorous, independent auditing process conducted by Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. The audits examined the Company's environmental management systems for conformity to the standard's requirements. The comprehensive process addressed all aspects of the Company's operations in Huntington Station ranging from its safety audits and emergency response systems to efforts to ensure recycling and the reduction of trash produced at the facilities.
