Adds Push Approval Technology

American Tech, Inc. today announced it is now shipping Version 3.0 of PurchasingNet, its Intranet-based Requisitioning and Direct Ordering software.

The Requisitioning Approval Process now incorporates Push Technology to notify the appropriate individuals that a requisition has been generated which requires their approval. The requisition can then be reviewed and approved (or rejected) with a single mouse click. The software supports an unlimited number of approval levels and routings. A Browser-based approval process is also available.

PurchasingNet is a Browser-based Requisitioning and Direct Ordering software product that can be a front-end to any existing system. It helps streamline the non-production Purchasing and Requisitioning process in mid to large sized organizations. The software resides on a Windows NT (Windows New Technology) A 32-bit operating system from Microsoft for Intel x86 CPUs. NT is the core technology in Windows 2000 and Windows XP (see Windows). Available in separate client and server versions, it includes built-in networking and preemptive multitasking.  server and can be accessed by any PC, Mac, or Unix machine via a standard browser.
