American Systems Wins ''The Best'' Contact Center Award.

CHANTILLY, Va. -- The U.S. Navy Global Distance Support Center (GDSC) was recently recognized as the "Best Contact Center" in the Americas with less than 50 agents, by ContactCenterWorld.com. The judging, which included more than 130 entrants throughout nine categories, and award ceremony took place in Dallas, Texas, at ContactCenterWorld.com's annual conference. In addition, the U.S. Navy GDSC was selected as a finalist in the "Best Customer Service" category in the Americas with less than 50 agents.

The U.S. Navy GDSC is managed and operated by American Systems, under the direction and sponsorship of the Naval Sea Logistics Center in Mechanicsburg, PA, with additional sub-contractor support by Zavata, Inc. The Center was established in 1999 to provide 24/7 support to the fleet user through a single point of entry. Today, the U.S. Navy GDSC provides the fleet with a streamlined process to resolve a broad range of questions and issues including technical and logistical support requests and quality-of-life issues.

In November, the U.S. Navy GDSC will join with the winners from all nine categories of the "Best in the Americas" awards in a competition against the best in Europe, Middle East & Africa, and Asia Pacific at the world finals in Las Vegas to compete for the "Best in The World" title.
