American Suzuki Receives Prestigious Platinum MarCom Creative Award.


Suzuki's XL7 and SX4 Web-Based Training Courses Recognized for Excellence

BREA, Calif. -- American Suzuki today announced it has been honored with a Platinum MarCom Creative Award for its 2007 XL7 New Model Launch Web-based training courses. In addition, Suzuki was also awarded an honorable mention for its 2007 SX4 New Model Launch Web-based training courses. American Suzuki teamed for the first time with Pacific Technology Solutions to develop and implement the new model training courses, which include content for dealership sales personnel, service managers and service advisors, greeters, cashiers, operators, receptionists as well as service technicians.

The new training courses were developed by a team of seven managers in service, technical training and sales with a joint vision to bring synergy The enhanced result of two or more people, groups or organizations working together. In other words, one and one equals three! It comes from the Greek "synergia," which means joint work and cooperative action.  and consistency to the entire curriculum. Suzuki's Web-based course design eliminated redundancies and reduced cost, while increasing curriculum quality.

The announcement marks the first time American Suzuki has received recognition from MarCom Creative Awards, which are sponsored by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals and judged by industry professionals. This year there were more than 5,000 entries from throughout the United States and several foreign countries, and winners were selected from more than 200 categories in seven forms of media and communications efforts. American Suzuki was the only import automotive winner in its category.

The MarCom Creative Awards are designed to evaluate work solely on its own merit, and the competition rewards companies and individuals with the highest standard for excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.
