With its powerful V6 engine, extensive technological advances, dynamic styling and refined interior, all as standard equipment, the 1999 Grand Vitara boasts the most outstanding value in its class. The Grand Vitara model line is available in either two-wheel drive (2WD) or four-wheel drive (4WD) configurations. Both the two-wheel drive JS and four-wheel drive JLX offer the same standard equipment and feature a top-of-the-line "+" trim level that adds ABS and aluminum alloy wheels. The MSRP for the two-wheel drive Grand Vitara JS starts at $17,999 with a manual transmission and the JS+ is priced at $18,999 also equipped with a manual transmission. The MSRP for the four-wheel drive Grand Vitara JLX starts at $18,999 and the JLX+ comes in at $19,999 for the manual transmission model. Automatic transmission is available for $1,000.
