American Suzuki Bests Own Sales Record.


Automaker out-Sells Record-Setting 2005 Well before End of 2006

) established a new annual sales record, exceeding its last year's sales total of 82,101 cars and SUVs. Through September, Suzuki's year-to-date sales totaled 81,328 units, up an impressive 28 percent from the first nine months of 2005, and only 773 vehicles from reaching the milestone. On October 12, 2006, reported sales of 822 vehicles put American Suzuki ahead of last year's sales record with sales of 82,923 units.

With the 2007 SX4 X-over now in dealerships and the much-anticipated 2007 XL7 SUV due in showrooms in November, Suzuki is well positioned to reach its goal of 100,000 units in 2006.
