American Stock Exchange Seeks to Delist Big City Radio Common Stock.Business Editors NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 6, 2002 Big City Radio, Inc. (Amex:YFM YFM Yorkshire Fund Managers (UK) ) announced today that it has received a letter from the American Stock Exchange American Stock Exchange (AMEX) Stock exchange in the U.S. Originally known as “the Curb,” it began as an outdoor marketplace in New York City c. 1850. It moved indoors to its present location in the Wall Street area in 1921. advising the Company that the Exchange plans to file an application with the Securities Exchange Commission to strike the Company's common stock from listing and registration on the Exchange. The letter cited the Company's failure to satisfy Exchange continued listing standards regarding stockholders' equity Stockholders' Equity The portion of the balance sheet that includes capital received from investors in exchange for stock (paid-in capital), donated capital, and retained earnings.
