American Stock Exchange Continues to Reap HR Dividends with CheckPoint HR Payroll Automation Solution.

In 2002, NASD spun off Amex forcing HR Vice President Catherine Casey and her department to mobilize quickly to shift the payroll function without disrupting the employee pay cycle. After evaluating several vendors, Casey selected CheckPoint HR. ), the premier securities IT firm that runs the computer systems and communications networks for the Amex and New York Stock Exchange. This step was necessary to validate CheckPoint HR's IT capability. The success of the project was contingent on mapping Amex data with CheckPoint HR's human resources management system. In addition, CheckPoint HR also provided Amex with its own benefits platform and tools for enrollment.

CheckPoint HR has kept the exchange's payroll function operating seamlessly since 2002. In addition to alleviating the stress of processing checks, CheckPoint HR has also helped Amex streamline their internal HR resources and increased productivity of existing staff to focus on more strategic functions.
