The amount will be recovered over the next 12 to 24 months through surcharges on ratepayer rate·pay·er n. The $2,166,543 represents water and electric supply costs included in balancing accounts up to November 29, 2001. The CPUC's decision also authorized refunds of $84,953 to customers in two customer service areas and deferred collection of $75,100 in balancing account recovery in two other customer service areas, subject to the General Rate Case process. The effective date of the CPUC's decision is June 24, 2003.
