American Society of Association Executives and Banff Centre for Management and Executive Programs Offer Scholarship Award.For the second year, ASAE ASAE American Society of Association Executives ASAE American Society of Agricultural Engineers (Society for Engineering in Agricultural, Food, and Biological Systems) ASAE Alkali-Sulfite-Anthraquinone-Ethanol will recognize association executives who have demonstrated outstanding accomplishments and commitment to the profession of association management with the Banff Centre-ASAE Award for Excellence in Association Leadership. The recipient will receive full tuition for one of three 10-day professional development programs as well as round-trip air travel courtesy of Air Canada, ground transportation, accommodations, and meals--a package worth more than $10,000. Designed exclusively for and restricted to executive-level participants, the Banff Centre for Management and Executive Programs has earned an international reputation for excellence. The recipient may choose from three outstanding programs: Management Excellence, Guiding People and Organizational Change, and Creating and Implementing Innovation and Knowledge Management Strategies. Applicants will be judged on the basis of their demonstrated success in the four core competencies identified by ASAE's Executive Management Section: self assessment/self actualization actualization Psychiatry The realization of one's full potential ; innovation/change leadership; organizational design; and relationship maintenance. Eligibility is restricted to association executives who meet the following requirements: ASAE members for at least three years; currently employed as a full-time CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board. in an association or other nonprofit organization Nonprofit Organization An association that is given tax-free status. Donations to a non-profit organization are often tax deductible as well. Notes: Examples of non-profit organizations are charities, hospitals and schools. for at least three years; not a previous recipient of the award or the Banff Centre-CSAE Executive Leadership Award. Preference is given to those who have attained the CAE (1) (Computer-Aided Engineering) Software that analyzes designs which have been created in the computer or that have been created elsewhere and entered into the computer. designation.
