American Shared Hospital Services Begins New Cardiac Cath Lab Service.

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 10, 1996--American Shared Hospital Services (AMEX,PSE: "AMS" for common stock, AMEX: "AMS.A" for notes) Wednesday said it has started operation of a new fulltime cardiac catheterization laboratory at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center in Enid, Okla.

The new facility offers a full range of cardiac catheterization and angiography diagnostic testing. It is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, making it the premier facility of its type in northwest Oklahoma. American Shared said its contract to equip and operate the facility is for a seven year term, and features a "fee-for-service" revenue basis.
