American Seeds, Inc.

Dr. Mike Stern is named Pres of American Seeds, Inc., a Monsanto business unit that now owns 25 different seed brands. He replaces Dennis Plummer who is retiring from the company.

Stern is CEO of Renessen, a joint venture between Monsanto and Cargill and will retain that responsibility. He joined Monsanto as a Sr Research Chemist in 1989.
