American Securities Announces Purchase of the Assets of Addison Financial.


GAITHERSBURG, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 8, 1998--American Securities Inc., a financial services holding firm whose subsidiaries include AC Financial, a full service broker-dealer, MSJ MSJ Motion for Summary Judgment (civil procedure legal practice)

 Partners Corp., a hedge fund hedge fund, in finance, a highly speculative, largely unregulated investment device. Originating in the 1950s, the funds "hedge" by offsetting "short" positions (borrowing a security and then selling it at a higher price before repaying the lender) against "long"  manager, and Investors Resolutions, an investor arbitration consulting firm, Wednesday announced the purchase of substantially all of the assets of Addison Financial Inc. a Florida-based broker-dealer, by American Securities' wholly-owned subsidiary, AC Financial.

The acquired assets, business and key employees of Addison Financial will be merged into AC Financial and will strategically expand AC Financial's retail brokerage business in the southeastern United States as well as adding a substantial revenue flow continuing the growth of AC Financial's client base.
