) is pleased to announce that it has contracted with Neb Doctors, an Atlanta-based respiratory national dealer organization to detail ASR's new asthma monitor "Whistlewatch" to pediatricians and pediatric pediatric /pe·di·at·ric/ (pe?de-at´rik) pertaining to the health of children.

 centers. Neb Doctors is in the process of expanding to over 128 satellite offices providing educational training and distribution services for the new asthma monitor.

The arrangement with Neb Doctors will permit ASR (Automatic Speech Recognition) Using voice recognition to replace keypad entry for telephone voice menus. Typically used to speak the digits 0 through 9 insted of keying them, ASR systems may be able to recognize a limited vocabulary. "Whistlewatch" is an audible asthma monitor that produces a whistle-like sound if the patient asthma's condition is stable. It can be heard over the telephone giving parents and health care workers a clinical update by telephone. This is an important feature especially for working parents. ASR has also been awarded a Novation contract for the monitor providing access to 2,300 hospitals. In addition, the product is available nationally through many CVS (1) (Concurrent Versions System) A version control system for Unix that was initially developed as a series of shell scripts in the mid-1980s. In addition to the asthma monitor, Neb Doctors has also purchased the KidzMed medicine dispenser for promotional efforts to pediatricians. This could easily yield purchases of over 1,000,000 units in 2005. More important pediatricians will serve as a conduit for describing the medicine dispenser features and benefits as well as the asthma monitor, reinforcing sales through Walgreen's and CVS as well as other OTC OTC
