AS&E is one of a small number of companies to pass the stringent standards set forth in the DHS SAFETY Act.

AS&E received this exclusive Certification after meeting the qualifications outlined in the SAFETY Act of 2002. Established as part of the Homeland Security Act The Homeland Security Act (HSA) of 2002, Pub. L. No. 107-296, 116 Stat. 2135 (Nov. 25, 2002), introduced in the aftermath of the September 11, 2001 attacks, created the Department of Homeland Security in the largest government reorganization in 50 years, since the Department of  of 2002, the SAFETY Act provides incentives for the development and deployment of anti-terrorism technologies. As a result of receiving Certification, AS&E's products and services have been placed on the DHS Approved Products List for Homeland Security.
