AS&E Receives Largest Single Order for Gemini Systems to Protect Strategic Facility

(NASDAQ: ASEI) (AS&E([R])), a leader in X-ray detection technology, announced today the receipt of $8.4 million in orders from two new Middle Eastern customers to provide an OmniView Gantry cargo inspection system and a significant quantity of Gemini parcel inspection systems. After a competitive procurement process, AS&E was awarded the contract to deploy the OmniView Gantry System and the Gemini parcel systems at checkpoints to inspect for threats and contraband prior to entering their high-threat facilities. The order also includes service, parts and warranty.
