) and its mortgage banking subsidiary, American Mortgage Network (AmNet), announced today the promotion of Lisa S. Faulk to Executive Vice President, Operations. Ms. Faulk is responsible for all of the Company's credit policy and risk management activities. These include quality assurance, compliance, licensing, broker administration and post-closing operations. Before her promotion, Ms. Faulk was Senior Vice President, Operations.

Prior to joining the Company in 1997, Ms. Faulk served as Vice President, Conduit-Operations for Advanta Mortgage Corporation where she managed the Conduit Division's underwriting, funding and processing functions in the subprime credit markets. In commenting on the appointment, John M. Robbins, Jr., Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, said, "Lisa's understanding of a broad spectrum of mortgage operations is essential as we ramp up our nationwide network of regional centers. Her deep industry experience is pivotal in building a solid foundation for AmNet."

Ms. Faulk is a member of the Board of All Souls Episcopal Church. She is active supporter of the San Diego Museum of Art The San Diego Museum of Art opened as the Museum of Fine Arts on February 28, 1926. The funders turned over ownership of the building to the City of San Diego. It is located in Balboa Park. The museum building was designed by architect William Templeton Johnson.  and MADCAPS (Mothers and Daughters Club Assisting Philanthropies). Ms. Faulk has a B.S. in Finance from Oregon State University Oregon State University, at Corvallis; land-grant and state supported; coeducational; chartered 1858 as Corvallis College, opened 1865. In 1868 it was designated Oregon's land-grant agricultural college and was taken over completely by the state in 1885. . She and her family reside in Point Loma, California.
