Happy anniversary! American Red Cross Southeastem Michigan Chapter is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. In June 1905, the first American Red Cross office in Michigan opened its doors in Detroit. Since that time, the Red Cross has touched the lives of millions of Southeast Michigan residents through emergency prevention, preparedness and response programs. A series of events is planned this under the theme "Celebrating 100 Years of Humanitarian Service."
