The 15,000 km test is the longest and most demanding of the emission tests. Motorcycles that pass this test are awarded permanent certification. Test drivers retained by the Texas Station are driving the Q2 on multiple shifts through a carefully designed loop of varying road and terrain conditions. "All of the interim testing shows results which are safely below the minimum required emission standards. The 49-state test is expected to be completed in mid-March and AMQC is fully confident of certification for the 4-valve engine and Q2 cruiser motorcycle. AMQC has commenced testing of a second Q2 motorcycle for the 50 state certification (including California) this month with successful certification expected."
