:APP) have decided to joint test the digital, spread-spectrum, Two-Way messaging system developed by Nexus.

The test will be conducted in Chicago beginning in March and continuing through August 1996.

The patented technology provides carriers with the ability to add a low-cost wireless return network to an existing outbound paging network, minimizing additional capital and operating expenses Operating expenses

. The Nexus system utilizes existing 900 MHz (MegaHertZ) One million cycles per second. It is used to measure the transmission speed of electronic devices, including channels, buses and the computer's internal clock. A one-megahertz clock (1 MHz) means some number of bits (16, 32, 64, etc.  channels for outbound communication coupled with a return channel over the unlicensed industrial, scientific an medical ("ISM") 902-928 MHz frequency band.

During the trial, the companies will evaluate Nexus infrastructure equipment and TAG-Pager Two-Way messaging devices. The trial will be used to determine customer preferences for new service offerings. The test will also demonstrate the ability of the Nexus system to serve simultaneously multiple operators in a demanding environment like Chicago.
