American Paging Inc. Signs Multiyear Agreement With Subscriber Computing Inc.


DALLAS, PCS (1) (Personal Communications Services) Refers to wireless services that emerged after the U.S. government auctioned commercial licenses in 1994 and 1995. This radio spectrum in the 1.  '97--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 11, 1997--Subscriber Computing Inc. Thursday announced that it has been awarded a multiyear contract by American Paging Inc. (API), a leading provider of wireless messaging services, to provide a new customer care, billing and inventory solution for API's nationwide messaging operations.

The contract is valued at more than $5 million.

American Paging will be replacing its current system with SCI's Communications Resource Manager (CRM (Customer Relationship Management) An integrated information system that is used to plan, schedule and control the presales and postsales activities in an organization. ), a system that is currently deployed in a number of major paging and cellular operations worldwide.
