American Pacific Bank Announces New Headquarters and Main Office in Downtown Portland Financial District.

PORTLAND, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 7, 2000

Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  of American Pacific Bank, (Nasdaq:AMPBB) is pleased to announce that the Bank is relocating its Headquarters and Portland Branch Office, effective January 10, 2000.

The Bank is moving from its current location in Suite 900 at 121 SW Morrison Street to 315 SW Fifth Avenue. The new, full-service location positions the Bank in the heart of Portland's downtown financial district.

American Pacific Bank has been serving customers in Oregon since 1979. The Bank began by offering services to customers in the rural areas near Salem, and in 1988 the first Portland office was opened to serve the financial needs of small businesses and real estate developers in the Portland metropolitan area The Portland-Vancouver, Oregon-Washington, Metropolitan Statistical Area, also known as the Portland metropolitan area or Greater Portland, is an urban area in the U.S. states of Oregon and Washington centered around the city of Portland, Oregon. .

The new office is a street-level, full-service location offering more convenient services for bank customers. The new location offers an ATM machine (Automatic Teller Machine machine) A banking terminal that accepts deposits and dispenses cash. ATMs are activated by inserting a cash or credit card that contains the user's account number and PIN on a magnetic stripe.  and night depository The place where a deposit is placed and kept, e.g., a bank, savings and loan institution, credit union, or trust company. A place where something is deposited or stored as for safekeeping or convenience, e.g., a safety deposit box. , as well as free customer parking. In addition to these new services, the Bank will continue to offer high quality service in areas such as construction and commercial lending, small business loans, consumer loans, residential mortgage loans, and high rate TCDs and money market accounts. Internet banking services will also be available in the second quarter of 2000.
