American ORT to honore Stephen Siegel at December luncheon.


Stephen Stephen, 1097?–1154, king of England (1135–54). The son of Stephen, count of Blois and Chartres, and Adela, daughter of William I of England, he was brought up by his uncle, Henry I of England, who presented him with estates in England and France and  B. Siegel Siegel, a surname, is associated with two ethnic groups.

As a Jewish surname Siegel (סג"ל) it could be an acronym of Segan Levi (סגן לוי), meaning "Assistant Levite".

In his role as global chairman of CB Richard Ellis, Siegel advises the company's brokerage operation on a worldwide basis and works with major corporations and property owners on a wide range of issues.

Siegel is also involved in a number of charitable and civic organizations.
