American National Bank of Texas Completes Merger with Citizens National Bank.


TERRELL, Texas Terrell is a city in Kaufman County, Texas, United States. As of the 2000 census, the city population was 13,606. Terrell is located 32 miles (52 km) east of Dallas.

). The Definitive Agreement for ANB to acquire Bryant-Irvin Bancshares and its subsidiary CNB was signed on June 12.

CNB and its operations, consisting of four Tarrant-based locations, will become part of the American National Bank of Texas. In addition to the CNB locations, ANB operates an additional banking center in Fort Worth located at 1200 Summit Avenue, from which Ginn leads the bank's Tarrant and Johnson County operations.

Now combined, ANB has 32 banking centers throughout North Texas, five of which are located in Tarrant County, and $1.5 billion in assets. The two banks' operations will be combined in the first quarter of 2008.
