:AMUT AMUT Advanced Manpack UHF Terminal ) today announced that they have upgraded their product the AMC-JPEG2000 - commercially called E-fotoXpress with more enhancing features. E-fotoXpress now supports TIFF files and BMP files. It will have automatic selection of compression formula based on originating picture size, producing pictures as small as 20K. The installation of the software is a lot smoother with the new upgrade. There will be rotation support +90, -90 and 180 degrees. The UI has been upgraded with new tool bars. The thumbnail size has been increased in size and clarity with the ability to e-mail with individual notes. Again this will reduce e-mail attachments size and providing more pictures and information per e-mail. There will be increased picture management and maintenance tools.
