) announced today that company President and COO, James C. Statham, will attend the "CeBIT Hanover" tradeshow in Germany, scheduled to run from March 18th-24th.

Billing itself as the largest trade fair in the world for Information Technology and Telecommunication, the 1998 CeBIT show reportedly drew some 680,000 attendees from over 60 countries visiting the more than 7,000 exhibitors.

"The CeBIT show represents a wonderful opportunity to network, visit with AMC shareholders, and to stay abreast of the very latest innovations in telecom technology," Statham said. "A major part of AMC's business is monitoring assets via satellite, making this a truly global business. If you are not thinking global, you are not being realistic about where the future is in telecommunications," he added.

According to Statham, he has meetings scheduled with a German business analyst who has requested an interview, as well as with companies exhibiting at the show that have similar or related interests to that of AMC in wireless and wireline technology.

"Of course, there will be an enormous emphasis on the Internet at this show," Statham noted. "AMC's value-added approach to building a base of monthly subscribers is to provide cost effective, reliable, user friendly service. We give our customers the ability to monitor their high value assets by satellite or wireline. Providing our customers access to this data using the Internet is an important part of our service," he added.

According to Statham, the CeBIT tradeshow provides a showcase for companies involved in information technology, telecommunications, engineering, design, software consulting, and related services that are pertinent to the business of AMC. "This show is truly a one-stop shop One-Stop Shop

AMC's current value-added solutions include two-way communication for remote oil and gas sites, as well as being able to monitor multiple functions aboard railcars and intermodal containers.
